BLU G72 Max with Helio G37 CPU, 6.8″ screen, and 4GB RAM unveiled

BLU, an American-focused phone maker, has just announced its latest smartphone, the BLU G72 MAX. This entry-level Android smartphone is powered by the MediaTek Helio G37 8-core CPU, @2.3GHz, along with PowerVR GE8320 GPU, 4GB RAM, and 128-Gigs of internal storage.

The BLU G72 MAX boasts a 6.8-inch HD+ display with a resolution of 1600 x 720 pixels and a refresh rate of 90Hz. This high refresh rate ensures a smooth and fluid display, making it ideal for watching videos and playing games. The display is also protected by Corning Gorilla Glass for added durability, and it has a dewdrop notch on the top.

The BLU G72 MAX also features three camera lenses on the rear. Of these three, the primary snapper is a 13-megapixels, along with two other auxiliary sensors. On the the front, there is an 8-megapixel selfie held with the overhead notch.

In terms of design, the BLU G72 MAX features a leather-like exterior that is painted in Orange, Mint, and Gray colors. The phone has a built-in 5000mAh battery, supports USB Type-C, supports a sided fingerprint recognition, is Powered by a 5000mAh battery, and is preloaded with Google Android 12 out of the box.

BLU G72 MAX pricing and availability

The BLU G72 MAX is available in three color options – Orange, Mint, and Gray – and it will be available via Amazon in the United States. The price is yet to be announced, but given BLU’s reputation for delivering high-quality smartphones at an affordable price, it’s expected to be very competitive.
