Camon 19 Neo with 48MP main camera and 32MP selfie lens announced

While we await the global launch of the Tecno Camon 19-series, which is stipulated to take place in the City of New York on the 14th of June, Tecno have announced the smaller Camon 19 Neo in Bangladesh in preparation for the arrival of the other models.

According to Tecno, the Camon 19 Neo is currently on pre-booking in Bangladesh, and the asking price is 18,490 Bangladeshi Taka, an equivalent of about $200 US Dollar. Although Tecno did reveal store where you can pre-order the device across Bangladesh, but the actual specifications of the phone is still in the wild.

Although the announcement banner reveal some of it key camera specs, which includes a 48-megapixel rear camera, and a frontal 32-megapixel selfie lens. Nothing else is known about the phone, not even the screen specifications was mentioned.

Thankfully, the postal did reveal the design of the Camon 19 Neo. Obviously, the phone will retain a rear camera module, similar to the recent Tecno Spark 9 Pro, and it will house three camera lenses on the rear. But unlike the Spark 9 Pro, the Camon 19 Neo retains a centralize dot notch on the front, but the exact screen estate remains unknown.

Based on previous rumors however, we expected the Camon 19 Neo to come in a 6.8-inches screen with 1080 x 2460 pixels. An 8-core MediaTek Helio G85 CPU is expected under the hood, while the phone itself was said to boot Google Android 12 out of the box.
