Cheaper TCL 205 with 6.22-incher screen and SC9863A CPU now official


We first came across the TCL 205 entry-level smartphone about a month ago. Then, it was listed for sales on a Russian e-commerce website, but without any official information about the phone on the company’s site.


Now, TCL has officially listed the 205 on one of it subsite, including all it specs and features. The phone itself is a basic Android device, and some of it key specs, begins from a 6.22-inches screen, with 720p display resolution. The panel has a dew-drop notch on the head, and it is using 19:9 aspect ratio.

Powering the phone is an octa-core UNISOC SC9863A, @1.6GHz, along with PowerVR GE8322 GPU. The model has 2GB RAM, and 32GB of built-in storage, expandable up to 128GB via SD card.

Camera option on the TCL 205 includes dual snappers on the rear; a 13MP main paired with 2MP depth lens, while a single 5PM selfie lens seats in the notch upfront.

The device is available in Atlantic Blue, Power Gray color. It is offered with Google Android 11 (Go Edition) out of the box. Key connectivity options includes micro USB 2.0, Bluetooth 4.2, 3.5mm audio port as well as Wi-Fi and GPS.


Battery juice is supplied from a 4000mAh unit, housed in an 8.65 mm body. As for pricing, the TCL 205 is currently priced in Italy at €99.9 Euros.
