Tecno Camon 18P Highlights and Overview
The Tecno Camon 18P is the direct successor to the 17P launched few months ago and the higher version of the vanilla Camon 18. Though both phone has same display specification, but this model benefits from a stronger CPU, and an added telephoto camera lens.
It comes in a 6.8-inches screen with FHD+ panel, 120Hz refresh and a centralized punched notch atop the screen where the 16-megapixel selfie camera is kept.
Turning to the back, you are getting three set of camera lenses; a 48-megapixel main lens with f/1.8 aperture and PDAF; a second 13-megapixel telephoto lens with 1.7x optical zoom and 30x digital zoom; and a third 2-megapixel depth sensing lens.
Powering the Camon 18P is MediaTek’s Helio G96 octa-core CPU clocked at 2.0GHz, along with Mali-G57 GPU. The unit has 8GB RAM, paired with 128GB of built-in storage, which is expandable up to 256GB via an SD-card.
The device come with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, while a 5000mAh battery with 33W fast charging and the latest Android 11 with HiOS 8.0 is available out of the box.
