Overview
The Y21 (2021) is an affordable smartphone from Vivo launched in August, 2021. The model is based on MediaTek CPU and has dual camera on the rear. It sports a 6.51-inches HD+ display with 720 x 1600 pixels, and mount a tiny notch above the screen where the selfie camera is kept.
Powering the device is an octa-core MediaTek Helio P35 CPU clocked at 2.3GHz along with PowerVR GE8320 GPU. The model has 4GB physical RAM and 1GB extendable virtual RAM. The internal storage is either 64/128GB, and it is expandable up to 256GB via SD-card.
On the camera department, the Vivo Y21 2021 has dual lenses on the rear. This includes a 13-megapixel main snapper with f/2.2 aperture, and a secondary 2-megapixel macro lens with f/2.4 aperture and a single LED flash. For selfie, you are getting a single 8-megapixel snapper on the front.
On the security wing, there is a side-mounted fingerprint scanner in addition to FaceID and default Android locks.
