The Xiaomi Redmi 8 is the latest smartphone from Xiaomi, as well as the successor of the Redmi 7. The device comes with a 6.22 inch HD+ display, with a 720 x 1520 pixels resolution, featuring a notch display cut-out, which host the front-facing camera.
On the hardware department, there is an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 439 CPU clocked at 2.0Ghz, along with Adreno 505 GPU. The device is available in two storage options: a 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage or the higher version with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage. All variants has support for external SD card up to 1TB.
On the camera department, the Xiaomi Redmi 8 comes with a dual 12 + 2 MP main camera along with a single LED flash, while an 8 megapixel sensor seats in the display cut-out upfront. There’s also a rear placed fingerprint scanner, along with other Android security options such as FaceID, Password or the popular Android pattern.
Interestingly, the Redmi 8 comes with a larger 5000mah battery, with support for 18W fast charging via USB Type-C interface.
