Xiaomi Redmi K30 4G Highlights and Overview
The Redmi K30 is the latest smartphone from Xiaomi launched in December, 2019. The device is also the direct successor of the Redmi K20 announced earlier this year, and is available either in 4G or 5G network versions. From the front, the K30 mount a large 6.67-inch IPS LCD display, featuring 1080 x 2400 pixel resolution. It has an in-screen pill-notch, housing a dual front facing camera.
Specification wise, the Redmi K30 is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 730G SoC, an 8nm octa-core CPU clocked at 2.2GHz, along with Adreno 618 GPU, 6/8 GB RAM and 64/128/256 GB internal storage expandable up to 256GB storage via SD card.
On the camera department, you are getting six (6) camera sensors in all; two (2) sensors up front, and four (4) at the back. Of the four sensors; there is a 64 MP wide angle shooter, featuring PDAF and f/1.9 aperture pegged with an ultra-wide 8 MP sensor with f/2.2 aperture, a third 2 MP micro lens and the fourth 2 MP depth sensor.
If selfie is your thing, it might interest you to know that the Redmi K30 is got a dual front facing camera, the first of it kind from Xiaomi, kept in the pill-notch upfront. The camera is a combination of 20 MP + 2 MP sensor, supporting HDR, face beautification and up to 1080p when recording video.
Security wise, there’s a side mounted fingerprint scanner and a 3D AI FaceID along with other Android locks. It also supports hybrid Nano-SIMs with 4G VoLTE network on both SIMs, a large 4500mAh battery with supports for a 27W fast charging, and the Android 10, underneath MIUI 11 out of the box.
