Flare S8 Plus Highlights and Overview
The Flare S8 Plus is yet another mid-range from Cherry Mobile, launched in Philippines under the company’s S8-series. There three key thing to note about this device: Firstly, it has 5-camera sensors in all, 2 sensors upfront, and 3 at the back. Secondly, it is graced by Mediatek Helio P70, and finally, you are getting a side mounted fingerprint sensor.
From the screen, the Flare S8 Plus comes with a 6.26 display with 1080 x 2280 pixels resolution, taunting an impressive 86% screen-to-body ratio, thanks to the pop camera. As mentioned above, the device is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio P70 CPU clocked at 2.1 GHz. Graphic is handled by ARM Mali-G72 MP3, coupled with 6GB of RAM and 256GB internal storage.
Coming to the camera department, you are getting triple sensors at the back, comprising of a 16-megapixel main shooter, a 5-megapixel wide angle lens and a secondary 2-megapixel depth sensor, along with PDAF, F/1.6 aperture and dual LED flash. Interestingly, Cherry Mobile made use of a dual front-facing camera, a combination of 16 MP + 2 MP shooters, hidden in the motorized pop-up.
The device comes with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, a dual SIM slot with support for 4G VoLTE network.
