Overview

Hotwav Cyber 8 is the smaller version of the Cyber 7, though the two phones has same design and rugged built quality. Just like it bigger brother, the Cyber 8 is also listed as having  IP68, IP69K as well as MIL-STD-810G rating. But it does not have 5G, and the CPU is Helio P22, instead of the Dimensity 700 used on the Cyber 7.

Powering the Cyber 8, is the aforementioned MediaTek MT6762, also known as Helio P22 CPU. It has an AI optimized CPU clocked at 2.0 GHz, coupled with PowerVR GE8320 GPU, 4GB RAM and 64GB of internal storage.

The device has three cameras at the back; the main lens is a 16-megapixel snapper with f/1.8, followed by a 5-megapixel macro, and a third 2-megapixel depth sensor, along with three LED flashes. For selfie shots, you are given a single 8-megapixel f/2.0 lens on the front.

The phone is available in either Pure Black, or with a Touch of Red color option. There is a space for dual Nano-SIMs with 4G LTE network on both SIMs, while a fingerprint scanner seats on the side.
