Overview

The Camon 12 is the latest camera centric mobile phone from Tecno Mobility, and as well as the direct successor of last year’s Tecno camon 11. The device is powered by the Mediatek MT6762 Helio P22 CPU, along with PowerVR GE8322 GPU, 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage, expandable up 256GB via SD card. The display on the device is a 6.52-inches IPS HD+ display, with 720 x 1600 pixels resolution, and a 19.5:9 ratio. The device makes use of the Waterdrop notch Cut-out, which holds the front facing camera.

  1. Hi, this is definitely an amazing phone and I’m loving it already. But I want to ask on the cellular network, I want to know if it has ‘4G only’ feature? Because my internet sim works with 4g only sim. Thank you!

    • You might need to wait a longer time before you get the right answer to this question. Perhaps until review units start flying.. Or you could simply visit any Tecno outlet, and request to test the feature yourself.
      I have a Tecno device that has this feature right with me, but anytime I activate 4G only, it disables voice calls, because the device does not have voice over LTE network.

    • How many series is this Camon 12? I will (Inshaa Allahu) get one at the end of this month Sept., I hope I will not be disappointed as I really enjoyed other series of Camon.

  17. Does glo 4G sim work with it?. Although I know glo 4G is on band 28, and band 28 is listed on this phone’s 4G network bands, I would still like to know if anybody has practical experience of glo 4G working on it.
