Xiaomi 12 is the direct successor to the Mi 11 announced back in December of 2020. As a simple comparison, the new comer offers all-round better specs than it older model, except for the screen. The Mi 12 comes in a 6.28-inches screen with 1080 x 2400 pixels. The panel is OLED, and it has a dot-notch on the head with Dolby Vision. The max brightness is reduced from 1500 nits on the older model, to 1100 nits, but the panel on the 12 still supports 120Hz refresh, has HDR10+ as well as Corning Gorilla Victus.
On the inside, the Xiaomi 12 runs on the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 5G flagship CPU. The SoC has 8-core CPUs, maxed at 3.0GHz along with Adreno 730 GPU. RAM and internal storage option includes 8GB + 128GB, 8GB + 256GB and 12GB RAM + 256GB of built-in storage.
As for the optics, there are three lenses on the rear of the phone; a 50-megapixel Sony IMX766 sensor, with f/1.9 aperture, OIS and a 1/1.56″ sensor size; a 13-megapixel ultrawide lens with 123Ëš FoV and a third 5-megapixel (50mm) telemacro lens, while a single 32-megapixel selfie lens is kept within the notch upfront.
The model is available in Green Blue, Black and Pink colors. It has an under-display fingerprint scanner, and support dual Nano-SIMs with 4G/5G SA/NSA network. The model has similar specs as the 12x, except for their CPU differences. It is powered by a 4500mAh battery and has 67W wired and 50W wireless fast charging.
