Xiaomi Redmi 12C Highlights and Overview
This is Xiaomi Redmi 12C, the direct successor of the Redmi 10C released back in March. As an upgrade, the 12C comes with a newer CPU and the latest OS. There is a fairly large 6.71-inch HD+ screen with 720 x 1650 pixels on the front, and an overhead notch housing the front-facing selfie camera.
On the inside, the Redmi 12C is powered by MediaTek’s Helio G85 CPU clocked at 2.0GHz, along with Mali-G52 GPU. Vivo Y22, Infinix Note 12i, and Tecno’s Spark 9 Pro are some popular smartphones powered by the same CPU. The model has 4/6GB RAM, along with 64/128GB ROM.
In the camera department, you are getting dual sensors on the rear. These include a 50-megapixel primary lens, and a QVGA Ai depth sensor. The phone has a single LED flash on the rear, while the selfie shooter on the front is capped at 5 megapixels.
The phone is also IP52 rated for splash resistance, and it has a rear fingerprint scanner within the camera module. It is powered by a 5000mAh battery with a 10W USB Type-C charger.
