Honor recently announced a new color variant for the Honor 20 Pro during this year’s IFA, not only that, they also announced a new smart app that helps visually impaired people to read text.

The app which is called PocketVision is powered by Honor’s artificial intelligence and a very high Camera quality on its Honor 20 series, the app can help a lot of people which has impaired vision to read texts such as documents, menus and pretty much everything readable.

The app have three several modes available such as Text-to-Speech Mode, Zoom-In Mode and Negative Image Mode.

With the name Text-to-Speech you can clearly have a glimpse of what this mode does, it simple means that you just need to point or tap on a text and the phone will read the text out loud, or you can just navigate to the note area and write words that you wanted it to read out and it will perfectly reads it out for you, as simple as that.

The Zoom-In mode enables you to zoom in on the text using the volume buttons delivering great text clarity and this is widely made possible due to the huge 48MP main camera on the Honor 20 family and also the 8MP telephoto lens.

The Negative Image mode does provide a wide range of color filters to enhance the image by elevating the contrast of the word.

This app is available at Huawei’s AppGallery and can be installed on Honor Smartphones but it will likely work best on Honor 20 series Smartphones.
