Huawei has started giving out EMUI 10 paired with an Android 10 Q update to their Mate X users. This report was announced by Huawei’s Consumer BG Software Department, Wang Chenglu. In his speech, he said that the Huawei Mate X will be receiving the latest EMUI 10 beta update. This is a beta update and that means that you might experience some lags, ofcourse that’s what we usually faces when an update is in beta stage.

And also, it is quite noting that you should backup up the device while installing the update, like i said before, it is still in beta stages. So do backup your phone before attempting this installation. The Mate X is the first ever foldable device from Huawei and it comes with a smart split screen support.
With the support for split screen, you can perform a lot of multitasking, and according to reviews, multitasking on this device is very efficient. When the device is unfolded, it gives a tablet like shape and the screen now has a size of 8-inches. But when it’s folded, you have a size of 6-inches. The display has a resolution of 2480 by 2200 and it is powered by a Hisilicon Kirin 980 processor + Balong 5000 5G SoC. Units with 5G Network support runs on a Kirin 990 chipset.
The processor is now supported by an 8GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage. On the rear of the Huawei Mate X, there is a quad camera setup which consists of a 40MP ultra-sensitive sensor with f/1.8 aperture, 16MP ultra-wide-angle sensor with f/2.2 aperture, 8MP telephoto lens with f/2.4 aperture and lastly, TOF 3D sensor. The rear camera shoots video in 4K at 30fps and 1080p at 30fps. It doesn’t have a front selfie camera and that’s because it uses the main camera as the selfie camera.
There is a side mounted fingerprint scanner and what is keeping the light on is a huge 4,500mAh battery which supports whooping 55W super fast charging.
