Huawei MatePad Pro launched with Kirin 990 SoC, punch-hole display, and wireless charging

The Huawei MatePad Pro tablet has been launched in China. It comes with a punch hole display and it’s one of Huawei’s latest flagship tablet this year. The tablet is priced at RMB 3,299 in China for the 6GB RAM + 128GB variant, the 8GB RAM + 256GB ROM variant is priced at RMB 3,399. Lite version of the MatePad Pro 6GB RAM + 128GB ROM is priced at RMB 3,799 while the 8GB RAM and 256GB variant is priced at RMB 4,499.

The tablet comes with a 10.8inch Quad HD+ display with a resolution of 2560 by 1600 pixels. It has a punch hole cut out for the selfie camera and 90% screen to body ratio. It is powered by a Hisilicon Kirin 990 chip paired with an 8GB of RAM and 256GB of ROM.

In terms of photography, the Huawei MatePad Pro comes with a 13MP rear camera with f/1.8 aperture and an 8MP selfie camera. What is keeping the light on is a 7,250mAh battery which supports 40W fast charging, 15W wireless charging, and 7.5W reverse wireless charge. It runs on Android 10 with EMUI 10 out of the box.
