The Infinix Hot 8 and the Tecno Spark 4 are like two brothers with same father, but different mothers. Aside being brothers, the two devices have so much in common that an average user might find it a little puzzling to choose between the two. So in this post, I’ll be placing side-by-side, the specification of Hot 8 vs Spark 4.
It worth nothing however, that there are about 3 versions of the Tecno Spark 4 currently; the Spark 4 Air, standard Spark 4 and of course, the upcoming Spark 4 Pro. Infinix on the other side have also released about 3 versions of the Hot 8; the Asian/Indian version with an Octa-core Mediatek MT6762 Helio P22, 4GB RAM and 64GB ROM, the African/Middle East version with a Quad-core MediaTek MT6761 Helio A22, 2GB RAM and 32GB ROM, both of which go by the name Infinix Hot 8, and of course the Hot 8 Lite, which has Mediatek MT6580P, 2GB RAM and 32GB ROM.
For ease of comprehension, the comparison will be focused on the African version of Hot 8 with Mediatek MT6761 Helio A22 CPU, and the standard Spark 4. If you want to know more about other versions of the Spark 4 or the Hot 8, you could use the links highlighted in red colours.

Infinix Hot 8 vs Tecno Spark 4: Comparison Summary
From the table above, the Hot 8 looks very similar to the Spark 4, all the way from the screen, CPU and down even to the camera setups. The only two notable differences between the two device lies in the battery capacity and of course, the RAM.
While the Spark 4 has a bigger 2/3/4GB RAM, the Hot 8 has only 2GB. But you are getting just 4000mAh battery on the Spark 4, which is about 1000mAh shorter than the 5000mAh battery used on the Hot 8, which also comes with 10W charger.
So if other variants of these phones, especially the higher version of Hot 8 with Octa-core CPU are not to be considered, then brand loyalty might be the major factor that could influence buyers choice on either of these two devices, and if you wish, you can share your opinion with us via the comment section below.
