Infinix Smart 3 Plus is the higher variant of Infinix Smart 3 mobile phone, and the direct successor or last year’s Infinix Smart 2 Pro. The device looks very similar to the Hot S4 Pro. Which means, just like the S4, you are getting the Waterdrop notch display Cut-out, triple rear camera setup and Google Android 9.0 Pie out of the box.

Getting into the details, the Infinix Smart 3 Plus comes in a 6.22-inch HD+ display with the a 720 x 1520 pixels resolution. The screen uses a 19.5:9 aspect ratio, with dot-notch above the display. The device is built into a glass body measuring 156 x 75 x 7.9 mm, resulting into an impressive 82% screen-to-body ratio, while weighing just 154 grams.

Aside the display, one of the major focus of the Smart 3 Plus is the camera setup. Just as seen on the Hot S4, the Infinix Smart 3 Plus features a triple rear camera setup comprising of a 13MP main sensor with f/1.8 aperture, a 2MP depth of field sensor and 8MP ultra-wide angle lens which can capture photos up to 120° wide, along with quad-LED flash, HDR and Phase Detection Autofocus.

For selfie, Infinix decided to bundle a large 32 megapixel front-facing camera, hidden in the front facing display cut-out, just above the screen. Although, there is selfie light, but Infinix said the screen will be able to produce enough brightness to capture bright pictures in lowlight condition.

Under the hood, you are getting an Octa-core MediaTek MT6762 Helio P22 CPU, clocked at 2.0 GHz, along with PowerVR GE8320 GPU, 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage, with a dedicated slot for additional storage of up to 256GB using SD card.

The device is powered by Android 9.0 (Pie) out of the box, based on Infinix XOS 5.0 Cheetah. It comes with a rear placed fingerprint scanner, have support for 4G VoLTE on dual Nano-SIM, with a dedicated mirco SD card Slot, and fuelled by a 4000mAh battery out of the box.
