Interestingly, the Infinix Smart 7 Plus has already been released in India under the name Infinix Smart 7. The African variant of the Infinix Smart 7 Plus is equipped with an eight-core Unisoc SC9863A1 chipset, which is notably different from the Helio A22 used on the none Plus model. The phone has 3 or 4 GB RAM and 64 GB storage, with the option to expand storage through memory cards. It also features a triple tray.

The Infinix Smart 7 Plus has a simple and clear 6.6-inch screen with a resolution of 720×1612 (267 ppi), but it lacks increased refresh rates. The battery life is impressive with a 6000mAh battery, although charging may be slow with only 10 watts.

In terms of cameras, the phone has a 5MP front camera and a 13MP rear camera with a branded AI Lens. The fingerprint scanner is located at the back of the phone, beside the cameras. The phone has single-band Wi-Fi and a Type-C USB connector.
