Motorola launched the Moto G7 in February this year, now since then, they have been working on the Moto G8 series, the Moto G8 Play has appeared online and it is said to have a triple rear cameras this time. The company has also adopted a new design, they have removed the Motorola logo that usually be at the chin of their every smartphone, this removal of the Motorola logo at the chin makes it easy for them to reduce the chin size as well as the bezels.

The specifications of the device was leaked in a separate report and it is said to launch in Brazil on October 24th. A leak coming from MobielKopen reveals that the smartphone will be coming with a waterdrop notch unlike the wide notch on the G7 Play, it appears to have a triple rear cameras, solid colours and a fingerprint sensor housed in the Motorola logo. The volume rocker and power button are present on the right side, while the USB Type-C port, speaker grille, and primary microphone reside at the bottom. The 3.5mm audio jack has been moved to the top also.

Now the second report coming from tudocelular revealed that the smartphone will come with a 6.2-inch HD+ Max Vision display, 8MP selfie camera, 117-degree wide-angle sensor on the back, AI integration in the cameras for better photos, and a 4,000mAh battery with fast-charging support. As per their live image of the smartphone, it appears to be powered by a 2GHz octa-core processor, which might be the Helio P60. There is no information about the other two camera sensors, but one of them could be a dedicated depth sensor for portrait shots.

To wrap all the specifications of the Motorola G8 Play:

It will come with a 6.3-inch full HD+ IPS display with 1,080 x 2,280 pixels resolution.

It will be powered by the Snapdragon 665 SoC paired with a 4GB RAM with 64GB/ 128GB storage that could be further expandable via microSD card.

It has a triple rear cameras consisting of a 48MP primary sensor, a 16MP wide-angle lens and a 5MP depth unit combined with laser autofocus. For selfies, it could have a 25MP snapper on the front.
