New Edition of Infinix Smart 6 Plus with 6.82″ screen announced

We already have a handful of mobile phones in the Smart 6-series, but Infinix don’t seem to be through with the series yet. Today, the company has announced a new edition of the Smart 6 Plus with redesigned rear, and a notably larger screen estate.

Recall that Infinix Mobile announced the first Smart 6 Plus in Nigeria back in March of 2022. That model came in a 6.6-inches screen with 720 x 1600 pixels, and it is powered by the MediaTek Helio A22 CPU, with just 2GB RAM.

The Smart 6 Plus [New Edition] is given a 6.82-inches screen with 720 x 1640 pixels. It is modeled X6823C, and it has 8-core 12nm CPU on the inside with PowerVR GE8320 GPU, but the exact SoC is not specified. Aside having a bigger screen, another notable upgrade on this model is the presence of Google Android 12 (Go Edition) out of the box.

The New Smart 6 Plus has a single 64-Gigs of built-in storage, paired with either 2/3GB RAM. Each of these RAM option can double itself through memory fusion. This means the 2GB RAM variant can get extra 2GB to become 4GB RAM, and the 3GB RAM can become 6-Gigs.
