Nokia 8.2 will come with only 5G variant and will debut in MWC 2020

It has been reported that HMD Global Nokia is currently working on a new smartphone dubbed Nokia 8.2. An old report we got revealed that the smartphone will come in two variants, one with 4G and the other version with 5G.

But a new report coming from Nokia power user revealed that the smartphone will now be coming with 5G network only. This happened in the era of Nokia 6.1 and 6.1 plus, the smartphone was launched in two variants, one with 4G and the other with 5G.

Now, when they launched the Nokia 6.2, it only came with 5G variant, and this is what HMD Global is trying to do for Nokia 8.2, it will only come in 5G version. This version of smartphone is expected to debut in early February 2020 at MWC.

The Nokia 8.2 5G as earlier reported will come equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 735 SoC, this Chipset will succeed the previous Snapdragon 730. The 8.2 will also arrive in three variants, one with 4GB RAM and 64GB ROM, 6GB RAM and 128GB ROM and lastly 8GB RAM and 256GB ROM.

This is likely to be the first smartphone from Nokia to come with an 8GB of RAM. There will also be a quad cameras on the rear of the smartphone, the primary sensor will be a 64MP camera and it will also be a pop up selfie camera smartphone. The pop selfie camera is expected to be a 32MP camera which could be powered by Samsung’s GD1 image sensor with Quad-Bayer pixel-binning technology.
