Sometime back in May 2022, OPPO announced OPPO A57 5G in China. Later in that same month, the company launched its 4G model in Thailand. The smartphone was also launched in Indian markets in June.
However the Chinese smartphone manufacturer, OPPO is yet to make any official announcement concerning the smartphone’s release in the European market.
Now, we have gotten a new report that the device will be launching in the European market with a special addition of another model, the OPPO 57s. OPPO has plans to launch the OPPO A57 along with the OPPO A57s in Europe soon.
Since the OPPO A57 is out in different markets, we know the specs of the device already. The OPPO A57s specs have not yet been revealed, but we expect them to be identical to OPPO A57.
OPPO A57s is equipped with a MediaTek Helio G35 2.3GHz octa-core processor, and the SoC is paired with PowerVR GE8320 GPU maxing out at 680MHz. The display comes with 1612 x 720 (HD+) resolution, 60Hz refresh rate, 60Hz touch sampling rate, 269 PPI pixel density.
The smartphone is powered by a 5,000mAh battery, that supports 33W rapid charging technology. It comes with Android 12-based ColorOS 12.1 version.
The OPPO A57s phone offers a 4GB of RAM and 64GB internal storage capacity. The device houses a dual camera setup at the rear side, consisting of a 13-megapixel primary sensor and a 2-megapixel mono lens. It has an 8-megapixel selfie camera in front.
In terms of security, the device has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner which also doubles as a power button. Other sensor include; Geomagnetic sensor, Light sensor, Proximity sensor, Accelerometer and Gravity sensor. The device is available in Glowing Green and Glowing Black colors.
OPPO A57 and A57s availability and price in Europe
The A57s device will be available in Glowing Green and Glowing Black colors just like the OPPO A57. Both OPPO A57 and OPPO A57s will come in single storage model. The OPPO A57 will be available in 64GB storage, while the OPPO A57s will come in 128GB storage. OPPO A57 will cost EUR 169 ($172.27), and the OPPO A57s will sell at EUR 199 ($202.85), and can be bought from OPPO’s official store.
