The Oppo Reno2 Z that was unveiled on TENAA about a week ago has gone Official today in China, the device comes without a notch, there is a pop up camera and a quad rear cameras, this made it a worthy successor to the Oppo Reno Z.
The OPPO Reno2 Z is now listed on the official OPPOShop.cn online store for reservations, the smartphone is priced at 2,499 Yuan (~$353). The three color editions of the smartphone for China are Morning Fog White, Extreme Night Black and Deep Sea Blue and it is expected to go on sale for the first time on Oct. 25 in the home market. In India, it carries a price tag of Rs. 29,990 (~$424).
Going to the specifications, it has a 6.53-inch Full HD+ notch-less display with 90% screen to body ratio. The display is an AMOLED screen which has an aspect ratio of 19:5:9 and it has an in-display fingerprint scanner with a Gorilla glass 5 protection. Under the hood, it is powered by Mediatek Helio P90 which runs on Android 9 pie with ColorOS 6.1 on top. The processor is now backed up by an 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage but in China, it is selling with 8GB RAM and 256GB internal storage and you can extend the storage via a Micro SD card.
At the rear of the Oppo Reno2 Z, it has a quad rear cameras which consists of 48-megapixel Sony IMX586 sensor as the primary lens, an 8-megapixel superwide lens, a 2-megapixel macro lens and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. The smartphone offers 10x digital zoom, EIS, professional mode, night scene mode, time-lapse, slow-motion video shooting and 4K video recording at 30fps. The Reno2 Z is equipped with a pop-up selfie camera of 16-megapixel with f/2.0 aperture and support for 1080p video recording at 30fps.
Other features that are available on the device are dual-SIM support, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS and 3.5mm audio jack. What is keeping the light on is a 4000mAh battery which supports fast charging up to 20W and it is the VOOC 3.0 Flash Charge technology that brings support for 20W fast charging on the device.
