Samsung Galaxy M42 5G Highlights and Overview
As the name implies, this is the 5G variant of the Galaxy M42 from Samsung. This unit is based on the Snapdragon 750G SoC, a 5G-enabled CPU from Qualcomm. The Chipset has 8-core CPUs, and backed by Adreno 619 GPU with either 6/8GB RAM, paired with 128 Gigs of built-in storage.
From the front, the Galaxy M42 5G sports a 6.6-inches HD+ screen with 720 x 1600 pixels. Panel screen panel is Super AMOLED, it has U-shaped notch on the front where the selfie camera is kept.
Coming to the camera department department, the Galaxy M42 5G has a set of four lenses on the rear. These includes a 48-megapixel primary, 8-megapixel ultrawide, 5-megapixel macro and a fourth 5-megapixel depth sensors. For selfie, you are given a single 20-megapixel lens, within the notch on the front.
The phone is given under-screen fingerprint scanner, and powered by a 5000mAh battery with 15W fast charger. It is available in either Prism Dot Black or Prism Dot Gray, and boot Google Android 11 with One UI 3.1 out of the box.
