This is Sharp Aquos R7, the direct successor to Aquos R6 of 2021. The phone display is now flat, instead of the curvy looks on the R6. Also, the new R7 is now based on a more recent OS and stronger CPU. But from the front, you are still getting a 6.6-inches QHD+ display with a dot notch. The screen support ultra-high dynamic refresh that can go up to 240Hz depending on the need.
On the inside, the Aquos R7 is powered by Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8 Gen1 CPU, and backed by Adreno 730 GPU, 12-Gigs of RAM and a single 256-Gigs of built-in storage.
Coming to the camera department, just two lenses are housed on the rear of the R7. These includes a 47.2-megapixel primary shooter, with a large 1/1.0″ sensor size, and F/1.9 aperture. The secondary lens is a 1.9-depth sensor, while a frontal 12.6-megapixel selfie lens is housed within the notch.
Just like it predecessor, the R7 is water and dust resistance with IP68 certification. It has an under-screen fingerprint scanner, support NFC as well as dual SIM cards. There is a 5000mAh battery on the inside, while Google Android 12 runs out of the box. The full specifications of Sharp Aquos R7 is contained in the table bwlow.
