The POVA 5G, as the name suggests, is a 5G-enabled smartphone from Tecno Mobile. The device is powered by a Dimensity CPU from MediaTek, and come in a mammoth display size, just like the POVA 2. Talking about display, the POVA 5G sports a 6.9-inches Dot-notch screen, with 1080 x 2460 pixels resolution. The screen panel is IPS, and it has an impressive 120Hz refresh rate.
Under the hood, the POVA 5G is powered by the 6nm Dimensity 900 SoC from MediaTek. The Chipset has an Octa-core CPUs split into dual-core CPUs @2.4GHz from ARM Cortex-A78, and a hexa-core CPUs @2.0GHz, built from ARM Cortex-A55 process. Memory options includes 8GB RAM which can be increased to 11GB, along with 128 Gigs of built-in storage.
As for the camera department, the POVA 5G has three camera sensors on the back; a 50-megapixel primary lens, 2-megapixel macro lens, 2-megapixel depth shooter, along with 4-LED lights. For selfies, there is a single 16-megapixel sensors kept in the punch cut-out upfront.
What’s more? The device provides support for dual SIMs, capable of 3G and 4G, as well as 5G network bands. It is fueled by a 6000mAh battery with 18W fast charging, and it also has a side mounted fingerprint scanner as well. The phone boots Android 11 with HiOS 8.0 out of the box.
