Tecno Spark 4 now receiving Android 10 update base on HiOS 6.2.0

Tecno Mobile have just released Google Android 10 update to owners of the Spark 4 modeled KC8. The update which weighs a total of 1.87GB brings January 2021 security patch as well as Tecno’s HiOS 6.2.0 skin.

There are a host of features bundled together in the new updates which can be summarized into four:

1. The inclusion of Google Android 10 based on HiOS 6.2.0
2. Addition of system-wide dark theme
3. Bundled social turbo and
4. Added game mode.

To apply the update, it important to note once again that this update is only for owners of Tecno Spark 4 modeled KC8. By default, you should receive an update notification, but if not, you can head over to Settings > System update to download and apply the new OS.

Recall that Tecno announced the Spark 4 back in September of 2019, and some of it key features includes a 6.52-inches display with 720 x 1600 pixels resolution. On the inside, there is quad-core MediaTek Helio A22 CPU, pegged with up to 4GB RAM and up to 64GB built-in storage.

The device has three camera modules on the rear; which includes a 13-megapixel main lens, with dual auxiliary sensors, while a single 8-megapixel snapper seats in the notch upfront. The device came with 4000mAh built-in battery, and run Google Android 9.0 out of the box.
