Tecno Mobile have yet announced another entry-level smartphone, this time, a model in the Spark 8-series dubbed Spark 8C. It comes in a 6.6-inches screen with 720 x 1612 pixels and powered by an 8-core UNISOC CPU with up to 3GB RAM. The screen on the phone has a dewdrop notch on the head, and it supports 90Hz refresh rating.
The Spark 8C is modeled KG5k, but Tecno did not reveal the Chipset powering the phone. However records on GeekBench shows the phone is got an 8-core UNISOC CPU at 1.61GHz, a supposed Tiger T606 SoC, same Chipset on the Moto E20. Memory option on the phone includes 2/3GB RAM and 32/64-Gigs of internal ROM.
Coming to the camera department, the Spark 8C has dual sensor on the rear; a 13-megapixel primary shooter with 77.3Ëš FoV and an F/1.8 aperture, along with a secondary AI depth sensor. 4-LED flash are available on the rear, while there is single 8-megapixel selfie shooter on the front, backed by a single LED flash.
The phone also come with a fingerprint scanner on the rear, and supports dual Nano-SIM with 4G LTE network. There is a 5000mAh battery on the inside, while Google Android 11 (?) is available out of the box. Interestingly, both the RAM and external storage are expandable, thanks to the inclusion of Tecno’s Memory Fusion out of the box.

The Spark 8C is currently listed on the company Nigeria site, and it is painted in Turquoise Cyan, Magnet Black, Iris Purple and Diamond Grey colors. Sadly we were not able to ascertain the price as when this article was written.
