Tecno has just released her first smartphone for 2023, and it is even named accordingly. The Spark Go 2023 is Tecno’s latest device for the year. The model arrives in a 6.56-inches screen on the front, but the most interesting section is the rearview.
The Spark Go 2023 features a uniquely designed rear that carries two camera sensors, dual LED flash, and a fingerprint scanner, all housed in a single camera island. The camera specifications include a 13-megapixel main lens, along with a VGA depth sensor, while a single 5-megapixel selfie lens is used on the front.
Tecno has been improving the design of the Spark Go series since its first model, released back in 2019. But one thing that has refused to get improvements is the CPU. So you are still getting the same old Helio A22 quad-core Chipset that was used on the initial model of four years ago.
One key advantage that the Spark Go 2023 has is that it is Tecno’s first entry-level smartphone that is powered by the company’s latest HiOS 12 out of the box. This new OS is based on Google Android 12, and it was introduced first, with the premium Phantom X2 series.
The smartphone is available in two storage options; a 3GB RAM with 32GB ROM, and a 4GB RAM variant, merged with 64GB ROM. There is a 5000mAh battery with 10W fast charger via USB-C cable.

The Tecno Spark Go 2023 is available in three colors. These include; Endless Black, Nebula Purple, and Uyuni Blue. The device is currently available in the Indian market, and he price starts from Rs. 6,999 ($85.1) for the base model with 3GB RAM and 32GB ROM. No words on international availability yet.
