The Realme XT has finally been launched in India today, after a much teaser campaign, Realme finally unveiled it’s first 64mp flagship phone, Realme XT and Xiaomi Redmi note 8 Pro are the first devices in India to launch with a whooping 64mp camera snapper.

As with Realme’s tradition of original design, the Realme XT features a 3D curved glass rear panel with a ‘Hyperbola Light Streak’ effect and it is protected by Gorilla Glass 5.

It has a 6.4-inches FULL HD+ (2340 by 1080p) Super AMOLED display and underneath the display is a fingerprint scanner that promises super fast (334ms is the exact claim) unlock and a doubled sensitivity area.

The Realme XT’s main selling point is the 64MP camera that it has, the 64mp camera has an aperture of f/1.8. It uses Samsung’s GW1 sensor and that means that it will be 34% more sharper than the 48MP sensor found on its competitive Smartphones.

The second camera on the rear is an 8MP 119-degree ultrawide, a 2MP depth sensing camera and a 2MP macro snapper that can take good detailed shot at 4cm away.

On the front is a 16MP selfie shooter which has an aperture of f/2.0.

It is powered by Snapdragon 712 chip which has 10nm paired with 4gb RAM and 64gb ROM or 6gb RAM and 64gb ROM or 8gb RAM and 128gb ROM. Normally, the built-in storage is expandable through a dedicated microSD card slot.

On the Software category, the Realme XT runs on ColorOS 6 with Android 9.0 Pie and it is equipped with HyperBoost 2.0 for aclaimed lower latency and faster frame rates during gaming. It also has Google’s Digital Wellbeing and a system-wide Dark Mode, Realme promises an update to Android 10 in Q1 of 2020.

The Realme XT has a 4000mAh battery which supports 20W fast charging, this means that you can top up the battery of Realme XT under 1hour 20 minutes because it came with 20W VOOC adapter.

The prices of the Realme XT starts at INR 15,999 ($200) for the 4GB/64GB model, the 6GB/64GB is INR 16,999 ($215), while the 8GB/128GB is INR 18,999 ($240) and it is expected to go on sale on September 16.
