Xiaomi 12 Lite finally becomes a reality after many months of rumors

For us, that a Xiaomi 12 Lite is a possibility was not hard to believe, owning to the massive successor of the 11 Lite-series. Now, after months and months of multiples teasers and rumors, the Xiaomi 12 Lite is finally on preorder.

Note that official announcement is yet to be staged for the device, neither has the phone been listed on Xiaomi’s official website. But all that pertains to the upcoming device is already known, thanks to xiaomi.azerbaijan and redaksiya.az.

As per the report, the Xiaomi 12 Lite should go official anytime soon. In fact, xiaomi.azerbaijan even confirms that it is already available for offline preorder in Azerbaijan, spanning from June 30th, all the way to July 8th.

As far as the phone’s specification are concern, the Xiaomi 12 Lite will comes in a 6.55-inches AMOLED screen, featuring a centralized dot-notch, 1080p panel, 120Hz refresh rating, as well as HDR10+ with Dolby Vision.

The phone will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G 5G CPU, the same Chipset used on the current 11 Lite 5G NE version. It will be fueled by a 4300mAh battery, backed by a 67W fast charger.

The phone has a symmetrical thin bezels on all four sides, and will be 7.29 millimeter thick, weighing about 173 grams. It will sport three camera lenses on the rear, of which the main shooter is a 108-megapixel lens. The other two lenses will be an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens and a 2-megapixel macro shooter respectively, leaving a 32-megapixel selfie lens on the front.

The phone is given Google Android 12 with MIUI 13 out of the box. Like it predecessor, the Xiaomi 12 Lite should be available globally. But while we are yet to know it pricing in other regions, the 8GB RAM + 128GB ROM is set at 999 Azerbaijani Manat, an equivalent of $587 US Dollars.
