Xiaomi pushes MIUI 11 update to the old Redmi 4

Xiaomi said in April this year that some of their old devices won’t be receiving any updates and among the smartphone is the Redmi 4.

But now we have received a news that Xiaomi has rolled out an update to the smartphone. The update didn’t change the phone’s OS version, it still remains on Android 7 nougat.

Xiaomi Redmi 4 MIUI 11 UPDATE

The MIUI 11 version that it received has MIUI V11.0.2.0.NAMMIXM moniker and a size of 483MB. It also comes with 2018 October security patch, it’s quite surprising that a 2017 phone is still receiving the latest MIUI 11.

The update is still on, don’t get frustrated if you haven’t seen yours yet.
