Infinix have just released a new Android smart TV in India, with a 50-inch 50X3 4K display, offering HDR10 support and up to 1.07 billion colors. The device was announced alongside the Infinix Zero TV, which has a larger 55-inches QLED display.
This is actually not the first time Infinix is announcing the X3 smartTV lineup in India. The X3 was first launched in India back on the 10th of March, but only a 32 and 43 inches screen options were available then. So what Infinix is doing now, is basically adding a 50-inches screen variant, but with beefed up specifications.
Talking about specifications, the new comer brings frameless design with a whopping 94% screen-to-body ratio. The 50-inches display itself can push up to 300 nits of peak brightness. It has 24W box speakers with Dolby Audio for richer and clearer surround sound.
Powering the 50X3 Infinix smart TV is a MediaTek Quad-Core Processor merged with a 1.5-Gigs of RAM. The TV has a 16-Gigs of internal ROM and booth Android 11 operating system out of the box.
As far as ports and connectivity options are concern, the TV has three HDMI ports and two USB ports. It has Bluetooth 5.0 and support Dual Bands of WiFi. Apps such as Netflix, Amazon Prime, YouTube etc, are preloaded, and you can download above 5000 more from the store.
Pricing of Infinix X3-series of Smart TVs in India
- Rs. 11,999 for the 32-incher model with 1GB RAM + 8GB ROM,
- Rs. 19,999 for the 43-inches version with the same storage capacity,
- Rs. 24,990 for the new 50-inches version with 1.5GB RAM and 16GB ROM
Note that the 32 and 43 inches models were introduced back in March, and the prices stated here were their respective prices at launch. The new 50-incher model however will go on sales via Indian Flipkart on September 24th.
