Overview
This is Xiaomi 12S, the upgraded version to the standard Xiaomi 12 announced in December of 2021. This new comer brings two key upgrades; first, there is an introduction of Xiaomi and Leica partnership, and secondly, the model is powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 CPU, instead of the 8 Gen 1 used on the older model.

However, the Xiaomi 12s retains the same screen as seen on the older model; a 6.28 AMOLED panel with 120Hz refresh, HDR10+ and up to 1100 nits of peal brightness. RAM and internal storage option includes 8GB + 128GB, 8GB + 256GB, 12GB RAM + 256GB, and an additional 12GB + 512-Gigs of non-expandable storage.
Coming to the camera specs, the Xiaomi 12S is given three lenses on the rear. These includes a 50-megapixel primary lens, 13-megapixel ultrawide and a third 5-megapixel (50mm) telephoto lens. The camera is co-engineered with Leica, and it come with Dual LED flash on the rear, while a single 32-megapixel selfie shooter is kept within the notch on the front.

The phone is powered by a 4500mAh battery and it has 67W wired, 50W wireless and 10W reverse wireless charging support. All possible connectivity options are available, including Bluetooth 5.2, WiFi 6 and NFC. The phone itself is booted with Google Android 12 underneath MIUI 13 out of the box.
