Tecno has officially introduced the POVA Neo in India. The model has almost same design and specifications like the one launched in other regions, like Nigeria, but the internal hardware are slightly different.
So unlike the Helio P22 CPU used on the model launched in Africa for an example, the Indian model of POVA Neo is powered by MediaTek Helio G25 CPU. The Chipset has 8-core CPUs maxed @2.0GHz. Also, the RAM is upgraded to 6GB, and the internal storage is 128GB. Interestingly, not only the internal storage, but the RAM also is expandable up to 11GB.
Camera options remain untouched; a dual 13-megapixel main lens with f/1.8 aperture and a secondary AI Depth sensor, along with 4-LED flash. While a single 8-megapixel selfie shooter is kept on the front.
The POVA Neo comes in 171.39×77.25×9.1mm body, within which a 6000mAh battery is kept. The phone is IPX2 coated for splash resistance, and boot Google Android 11 with HiOS 7.6 out of the box.
The device itself sports a large 6.8-inches screen on the front, with 120Hz touch sampling IPS panel. It is available in Obsidian Black, Geek Blue and POWEHI Black colors. It will be on shelves from the 22nd of January, with a price tag of Rs. 12,999, or an equivalent of $175 US Dollars.
