Honor Play 3e goes Official in China with 5.71-inch display


The Honor Play 3e has been launched in China, Honor Play 3e is the lite version of the Honor Play 3, it comes in two variants which includes one with 2gb RAM and 32gb ROM and another variant with 3gb RAM and 64gb ROM.


This Smartphone has now been offered with a smaller display size unlike the Honor Play 3 which has a large 6.39inch HD+ display and the other main change here is in the Camera department, the Honor Play 3e has a single rear camera while the Honor Play 3 has a whooping triple rear Cameras.

Honor has promised to offer the Honor Play 3e at a lower and more affordable price rate, it’s price in China starts at RMB 699, which is around Rs 7,100 for the variant with 2GB RAM and 32GB storage and for the variant with 3GB RAM and 64GB storage, it is priced at RMB 899, which is about Rs 9,100.

Currently the Smartphone has only been launched in China, we don’t know when it will go global.

As far as Specs goes, it has a 5.71inch HD+ waterdrop notch display which has a resolution of 1500 by 720p, on the camera side, this Smartphone has a single rear camera unlike it’s big brother the Honor Play 3 and that single camera is a 13mp camera with f/1.8 aperture and coming on to the front side, you have a 5mp selfie shooter.

The Honor Play 3e is powered by Mediatek Helio p22 paired with 2gb/3gb RAM and 32gb/64gb ROM and of course there is a Micro SD card slot where you can extend the storage up to 512gb, it runs on Android 9.0 pie based on EMUI 9.1.

The phone offers a lot of features such as Dual-SIM with 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth 4.2, a 3.5mm headphone jack, a micro-USB port for charging, Wi-Fi, GPS, and GLONASS.

What is keeping all this on is a 3020mAh battery, it is indeed an affordable budget smartphone that should get you covered throughout a day.
