Samsung launches Galaxy A34 smartphone with enhanced specs and features

Samsung has recently unveiled the Galaxy A34, the latest addition to its mid-range A-lineup. The phone boasts a 6.6-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED Infinity-U Display with a 120Hz refresh rate and up to 1000 nits of brightness, ensuring an immersive viewing experience.

The device is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 1080 6nm processor with Mali-G68 MC4 GPU and runs on Android 12. It comes in two variants – 6GB and 8GB RAM with 128GB and 256GB internal storage, respectively. The storage is expandable up to 1TB via a micro SD card, providing ample space for media storage.

The Galaxy A34 features a hybrid dual-SIM slot (nano + nano/microSD) and supports 5G SA/NSA, Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 6 802.11 ax (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5.2, Dual-frequency GPS/GLONASS/Beidou, USB Type-C, and NFC. It is also dust and water-resistant (IP67), making it suitable for outdoor use.

The phone has a 48MP rear camera with f/1.8 aperture, OIS, 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera with f/2.2 aperture, 5MP macro camera with f/2.4 aperture, and LED flash, ensuring excellent photography capabilities. It also features a 13MP front camera with f/2.2 aperture for selfies and video calls.

Other features of the Galaxy A34 include an in-display fingerprint sensor, USB Type-C audio, stereo speakers, Dolby Atmos, and a 5000mAh battery with 25W fast charging. The device is available in Awesome Lime, Awesome Graphite, Awesome Violet, and Awesome Silver colours.

Pricing and availability of Samsung Galaxy A34 5G

The Galaxy A34 is priced at €389 ($416) for the 6GB + 128GB variant and €459 ($423) for the 8GB + 256GB variant. The phone will be available this March, starting with select markets in Europe and Southeast Asia. It will debut in India on the 16th of March.
