Sony which has been releasing smartphones consistently years back has said to release a smartphone this year that will be rocking the Snapdragon 865 Soc, don’t get me wrong, i don’t mean that Sony are not currently releasing new phones but they seemed to have lost their consistency as before.
But why i love them is that even if they didn’t release smartphone on a consistent bases, they still manages to release a new smartphone every year that always rocks the latest Chip.
Via the company’s firmware distribution server, it is said that the company is working on a new device that will be rocking the Snapdragon 865 SoC, in their firmware distribution server, the code of the Chip is SM8250.
The Snapdragon 865 Chip is said to be the successor to the recent Snapdragon 855+ Chip, we don’t know much about the Snapdragon 865 Chip but it might come with 4G and 5G integrated modem (x55).
By 2020, the 5G mobile network might be so popular but still it will not reach all countries and considering the fact that the 5G mobile is expensive, smartphone manufacturers will still produce smartphone in two variants, one with 4G and other with 5G for those who has the 5G mobile network installed in their country.
The Snapdragon 865 SoC might be launched at MWC in Barcelona in 2020, this is also the place where the company unveiled the ultra-tall Xperia 1 with CinemaWide display along with the Xperia 10 and 10 Plus.
